Prince Harry has returned to the United States to present an NFL award, just a day after leaving Britain following a brief meeting with his cancer-stricken father, King Charles III.
He made a shocking appearance Thursday night at the 2024 NFL Honors ceremony at the Resorts World Theater in Las Vegas.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, presented the Walter Payton Man of the Year award to Pittsburgh Steelers footballer Cameron Heyward.
'I'm in shock. That's Prince Harry,” he joked as he walked onto the stage to accept the award.

Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at the annual NFL awards ceremony to present the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
It comes just a day after he landed back in Los Angeles following a quick trip to visit his father King Charles, who was diagnosed with a form of cancer earlier this week.
They had a 'brief meeting' before the king and Camilla were driven to Buckingham Palace, where a helicopter waited to take them back to Sandringham in Norfolk.
It is believed the Duke has not seen his brother William or sister-in-law Kate Middleton, who is recovering from abdominal surgery and on extended leave.
Harry had flown more than 5,000 miles from Los Angeles to London after his father informed him of his diagnosis.
It was their first formal face-to-face meeting since the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022.
The prince attended Charles's coronation at Westminster Abbey in May last year, but he did not see any interaction with the newly crowned king and queen.

The Duchess was out and about as she waited for her husband, Prince Harry, to return from London, where he was visiting his cancer-stricken father, King Charles.

The quick visit did not include a reunion with his brother Prince William, as there has been a rift between the two since Harry stepped down from outstanding royal duties.
A palace source told The Times that the meeting between Harry and the King was brief because Charles was tired from proceedings on Monday.
But they said the king, 75, and queen, 76, were “coping splendidly”, adding: “If you didn't know what was going on you would have no idea at all that he was doing any condition suffered.'
Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle was also seen for the first time since Charles was diagnosed with cancer.

Meghan looked relaxed behind the wheel of her Range Rover, wearing a baseball cap and dark, oversized sunglasses, sipping from a coffee mug as she drove along.

Her appearance on Wednesday marked the first time she had been photographed publicly since Prince Harry left for London to visit his ailing father.

This marked the sixth time the Steelers nominated Heyward for the award. Heyward founded the Heyward House Foundation, which supports several initiatives in the Pittsburgh area.
The foundation also honors his father, Craig “Ironhead” Heyward, a fullback who played 11 seasons in the NFL. He died of brain cancer in 2006 at the age of 39.
The Walter Payton Man of the Year Award is presented to players who are committed to philanthropy and community impact, as well as excellence on the field.
