Gamers clear the shelves of ‘extremely limited’ PS5 deal as console drops to £360

MONEY savers are looking for an ‘extremely limited’ PS5 deal currently available in some game stores.

The retailer is clearing stock of the original PS5 Disc Edition with a tempting price drop.

Sony released the PS5 back in November 2020 and a slimmer version was launched at the end of last year.

The biggest change is a 30 percent reduction in size, which also makes it lighter.

Most of the original console has been replaced by the sleeker one, but it looks like Game still has some of the previous one lurking around.

A bargain hunter in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, spotted the PS5 Disc Drive Edition with 825GB in Game for just £360.

“Extremely limited stock available, get a bargain,” the shopper wrote on HotUKDeals.

They found it in Sports Direct’s Game Store, both owned by former Newcastle boss Mike Ashley.

PlayStation fans have been rushing to their nearest Game Store to see if there are any more in stock.

“I saw in the shop that in Hanley they had this BNIB for £324,” claimed another shopper.

Another wrote: “Had my eye on this. Currently OOS is online but has seen quite a bit of stock coming in and out over the last 24 hours as I’ve been tracking so expect it to come back into stock.”

Amazon Prime subscribers can get their hands on the console for £389 as part of the Amazon Spring Sale.

But if you’re not an Amazon Prime member, you’ll be happy to hear that many retailers have matched the PS5’s non-Prime retail price.
