The royal, 51, made a stylish entrance in a striking chartreuse blazer from Hugo Boss, which cost £354.99, teamed with wide-leg trousers and suede boots.

Letizia's 'Jestena' coat debuted in November 2023 and is made from textured wool with an asymmetrical double-breasted front and classic notched lapels.

Every year she visits FEDER to find out more about the challenges and opportunities the charity expects for the year ahead.

The monarch, who is honorary president, beamed as she took over the presidency a meeting at the organization's headquarters in the Spanish capital.

Letizia completed her ensemble with minimal jewelry, choosing only diamond stud earrings and a gold ring.

The former journalist is honorary president of the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER), which was founded in 1999.

The Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases wants to 'promote the need to work with all stakeholders to promote access to diagnosis for people suffering from rare diseases'.

They help people who have contracted a disease that affects fewer than five in 10,000 people. In Spain alone there are more than three million people who meet these requirements.
