Queen Letizia of Spain showed off her style talent today when she visited artist Juan Zamora's exhibition Life in Emergency at the Sorigué Foundation in Lleida, Spain.

The royal, 51, made a welcome entrance in a bright red pantsuit by Carolina Herrera, marking her second solo engagement of the year, after a Cancer Research meeting in Madrid last week.

First released in 2023, Letizia's two-piece paired a tailored single-breasted jacket and straight-leg trousers, which emphasized her slim figure, and was a welcome return to color after a wave of outfits in muted tones .

The monarch appeared to tone down her wardrobe following her former brother-in-law's claims that they were having an 'affair'.

Today, the mother-of-two wore a tight blouse and block heels from Patrizia Pepe, as her voluminous raven locks fell freely over her shoulders.

Later today she will attend the opening ceremony of The Talent Tour 2024 in Lleida, Spain.

Life in Emergency is the first major solo exhibition of Madrid artist Juan Zamora from the Sorigué Foundation, running from February 18, 2023 to March 22, 2024.

The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on human interaction with natural ecosystems and the current environmental crisis.

Juan Zamora's interest in the study of life cycles in nature and the ongoing processes of transformation has led him to approach existential questions from a biological perspective.

Biodiversity in danger of extinction due to anthropogenic activity, environmental pollution, green energy and cooperation between species are some of the issues the exhibition addresses through media as varied as drawings, installations and video.

Carolina Herrera's timeless two-piece combines a longline blazer with straight-leg trousers – both in a vibrant shade of red.

The royal completed her look with glamorous makeup, including a smoky eye, bronzed cheekbones and a glossy nude lip.

Letizia took her outfit to new heights with a pair of patent leather block heels from Patrizia Pepe.

It comes as Jaime Peñafiel, 91, who made a series of bombshell accusations about Queen Letizia in the book 'Letizia & I', has been fired by the newspaper he worked for after 20 years.

Late last year, the veteran journalist sent shockwaves through Spain's royal family after claiming the Queen was romantically involved with her ex-brother-in-law.

The book relied heavily on allegations made by Jaime Del Burgo, 53, who sensationally claimed he was still in a relationship with Letizia after her marriage to King Felipe in 2004.

The businessman told the author that he met Letizia before 2000 and that their relationship began during a romantic trip to Venice, years before she met King Felipe.

This weekend the journalist spoke to the Argentinian publication Semana and confirmed that he was no longer employed by El Mundo.

During the interview, the journalist denied that the decision to leave El Mundo was made months ago.

Initial reports in Spanish media claimed that Jaime Peñafiel was fired due to 2024 budget constraints.

However, the author claimed that the decision to fire him was made the day he complained about a “highly offensive” article printed about him.
