Prayagraj: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra resumes from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' reached Prayagraj around 4 pm on Sunday. Rahul Gandhi, UP Congress president Ajay Rai and other party leaders were seen in an open jeep during the yatra.

Senior party leader Pramod Tiwari said Gandhi reached Swaraj Bhavan directly from the airport where he met the party workers and started his yatra. He said the yatra will pass through Netram Chauraha and reach Laxmi Talkies where Gandhi will address a public meeting and after this the yatra will continue.

Rahul Gandhi's Nyay Yatra is coming to Amethi on Monday

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will enter Amethi around 3 pm on Monday, an office-bearer of the party's district unit said on Sunday. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will also accompany Rahul in Amethi, the party said.

“All preparations for Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Naya Yatra' have been completed. Rahul Gandhi is the first to be welcomed in Kakwa. His Nyay Yatra will enter Amethi border from Rampur Khas constituency in Pratapgarh district,” said Anil Singh, media coordinator of Congress's Amethi district unit.

“Rahul Gandhi will address a public meeting near Gandhinagar toll plaza. He will rest overnight at a field in Akelva near Fursatganj and will leave for Rae Bareli at 10 am on February 20,” he said.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra along with her brother will also be present when the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' enters Amethi, he said. Rahul Gandhi is a three-time Lok Sabha MP from Amethi. Union Minister Smriti Irani is the sitting MP from Amethi constituency.

On the second day of the Uttar Pradesh leg of his 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra', Rahul Gandhi said India is a “land of love, not hate”, and it will become weak due to people-to-people conflict. During the day he visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple. The yatra entered the state from Bihar at Chandauli on Friday, where it halted for the night. Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has said he would join the yatra in Rae Bareli.

Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' will travel through Uttar Pradesh before entering Rajasthan. The East to West Manipur-Mumbai yatra will cross 6,700 km across 15 states and aims to spread the message of 'nyay' (justice) and meet common people along the way.
