Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and model Lin Laishram married on November 29, 2023 in Imphal, Manipur. Randeep opened up about his love journey and how he looks forward to experiencing his bride’s traditions ahead of his wedding on Wednesday. The groom arrived at the wedding venue dressed in traditional Manipuri attire. Friends and relatives of the couple also congratulated them during their ceremony.

The actor was seen dressed in white traditional Manipuri attire and looked impeccable as a Manipuri groom as he was seen around his family and close associates.
In the extended clip from the wedding ceremony, bride Lin Laishram looked beautiful in a traditional Manipuri bridal gown, dressed in the Pencilalso known as Polloi, an amazing cylindrical skirt made up of durable textile material and supported with the help of bamboo. Her relatives and friends were seen accompanying her. Lin was seen doing custom celebrations as the priest helped them with the rituals while smiling at Randeep during the wedding.
Randeep Hooda talks about his wedding
When asked about exchanging vows, Randeep Hooda earlier stated that he wants to marry Lin Laishram in a traditional wedding in Manipuri. “It feels really good,” he said. I believed that it was only appropriate to come and get married according to the custom of the bride. I have heard that in Meitei love marriages the groom has to sit for a longer period. That’s something, but I’m more excited about the ceremony and traditions. I want to learn more about my life partner’s culture. That’s why I came.”
The actor further said that he has only two wishes as he enters a new period in his life: many children and abundance. He said, “We have been talking about Manipuri culture for a long time, I hope for a bright future full of children and lots of them. I love how we are expanding our friendship and becoming family.”
Randeep also explained how he and Lin met. He said, “We have known each other for a long time since we met, we have had a great friendship, we met through Naseeruddin Shah’s theater group, Motley.”
