How can you geo-tag properties yourself?

  1. Download and install the latest version 1.8 of the UMA Mobile app from the website. Consult the installation manual first.
  2. Visit your accommodation location and ensure that the necessary permissions such as device location etc. are allowed on your mobile device.
  3. Select the Citizen Module and log in with your registered mobile number.
  4. It will ask for an OTP, enter the OTP.
  5. Now select ‘Property Tax Module’ and then select UPIC of the property to be geotagged.
  6. Before geo-tagging, make sure you are present at the property that needs to be geo-tagged.
  7. Capture the geo-coordinate of your property by pressing the Capture Geo-coordinate button and then uploading it.
  8. You can add a caption with details such as building name, floor, house number, etc.
  9. Save the property details by clicking ‘Send’. Once you’re done, the UPIC data will appear in green.
  10. In case of any mistake during geotagging, you will have to repeat the whole process again to correct it. There will only be one opportunity to correct the mistakes.
