Rebekah Vardy has said she no longer cares about the Wagatha Christie trial and ‘knows the truth’.
In 2019, Coleen Rooney publicly accused Rebekah of leaking stories from her personal Instagram account to The Sun newspaper, sparking a war in the High Court, in which Coleen prevailed and Rebekah left with £3 million in legal costs.

She wrote: ‘I certainly did not expect what became known as the ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial. If it interests you, you know the details. If you don’t, I’ll spare you: thinking about it is a total waste of time and energy. All I want to say is that I know the truth, as do many others.”
Rebekah, who grew up as a Jehovah’s Witness and didn’t celebrate Christmas as a child, revealed her festive plans and said she doesn’t plan to spend big on gifts.

She wrote: ‘I love decorations, but not really gifts. The way I see it, the most precious gift is the time we spend with family.”
‘That’s what I’m looking forward to the most. And that’s why you don’t have to be religious to say the words that even now make me feel a little rebellious: Merry Christmas everyone.”
It comes after Coleen reflected on the ‘exhausting’ and ‘stressful’ Wagatha Christie test in an interview BBC Breakfast earlier this month.
Speaking about the Wagatha process, Coleen said: ‘It was just exhausting and so stressful. It was the unknown that went into it.
“I had never been in court before, I had never seen a courtroom. I just didn’t know what to expect. It was all new and it was scary, it was emotional.”
She went on to say that she was alone in the car when the verdict was handed down and described her reaction after months of stressful waiting.
She said: ‘My phone started pinging and said, ‘Congratulations, we’re so happy for you.’
‘It was a bit surreal. I just sat there alone in the car. I didn’t know whether to celebrate or cry. I was a little numb.

“Since the ruling, the support has been incredible. I am grateful for that. When the verdict was announced, I thought it was time to tell my story. It’s my story to tell.’
Her new book, My Account Coleen Rooney The Autobiography, chronicles Wagatha Christie’s libel battle from her side.
In her new publication, she gives fans insight into the 2022 trial and also provides a ‘complete account’ of her life, from childhood to more recent events.
Coleen said she wasn’t worried about sharing intimate details with the world: ‘Why not tell my side of it? I have been in the press for over twenty years.
‘Even though I’m in the newspapers and stuff day in and day out, they don’t really know me as the person I think in the book, so hopefully they bring me a lot more.’
