Little-known Roku TV trick to instantly fix buffering and improve picture quality

Has your Roku TV Stick suddenly started buffering? Or are you struggling with poor image quality?

Errors may occur from time to time when playing videos from one or all channels, but these can usually be resolved easily.

According to an Android Police report, video errors are usually the result of a poor Wi-Fi connection, service outage, or a possible outage on the channel you’re watching.

If you notice poor video quality or buffering, try connecting your Roku to a different internet connection.

Or reduce the use of other devices currently accessing the network by turning off Wi-Fi on gadgets that are not currently in use.

If your Wi-Fi connection isn’t quite what your provider promised, you may be falling into one of the many common broadband pitfalls, like placing your router in the kitchen.

If you can’t watch a TV or movie from any channel without a buffer, make sure your streaming player is connected to the Internet.

Follow these steps to check the connection status on your Roku:

First you need to press Home button on your Roku remote.

Then select Institutions and then choose Network

Navigate to the About section.

The status is there Connected if the device is connected to the Internet.

If the Roku stick keeps freezing, or the video starts and stops randomly, you can try restarting your Roku TV.

Follow these steps to restart your Roku device:

First go to Institutions.

Then select System and choose Current.

Then select Reboot system.

From there you can use the remote to highlight Restarting and press OK to restart your device.
