Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger, 79, is ‘engaged for the third time’ to Melanie Hamrick, 36

Last week, Melanie Hamrick, Mick Jagger’s gorgeous girlfriend, was spotted wearing a sparkly ring on her finger.

While the ballet dancer, 36, has insisted it was a promise ring, friends have now claimed that Melanie and Mick, 79, are indeed engaged.

Those close to the couple say Melanie admitted to being Mick’s fiancée on a recent trip to New York.

“Melanie was at the American Ballet Theater and she told her friends she was engaged to Mick,” a source tells me. The mirror.

“She was very clear that her ring is an engagement ring and that she is now his fiancee. Her family also understands very well that they are engaged and are very happy.’

The source added: “There are no plans for a wedding but it means a lot to Melanie to be engaged – that’s what she’s said. All her friends are happy for her.’

Melanie, who met the lead singer of The Rolling Stone nine years ago, previously laughed at engagement rumors.

When asked about the ring, which she wore in November, she clarified, “I have to giggle because did Mick give me the ring?” Yes.

‘Is it for that finger? Yes. But are we like, stupid teens where we give each other… In my mind it’s a promise ring. We’ll be immature and call it a promise ring.’

The couple who met at a concert in Tokyo have a six-year-old son named Deveraux ‘Devi’ Octavian Basil Jagger.

The musician has fathered eight children with five different women. His eldest child, a daughter named Karis, is 52 and was born of a brief relationship with actress and singer Marsha Hunt.

After that, he had a daughter named Jade who is now 51 years old. He had Jade with his ex-wife Bianca, to whom he was married from 1971 to 1978.

The Satisfaction singer has four children with Jerry Hall; two daughters; Elizabeth, 39, and Georgia, 32, and two sons; James, 37, and Gabriel, 25.

They had an unofficial wedding ceremony in Bali in 1990 after being together for more than ten years, but it was later annulled.

Mick, 79, and Jerry ended their relationship when it came to light that Mick had been unfaithful with Brazilian model Luciana Gimenez Morad, who gave birth to Jagger’s seventh child, Lucas.

Reportedly, the Rolling Stones will release an album of new music next year – their first in nearly two decades.
