Salman to finally team up with AR Murugadoss for Sajid Nadiadwala's film, huge action blockbuster on cards
Salman Khan and AR Murugadoss were reportedly collaborating on 'Ghajini', which eventually landed in Aamir Khan's lap. 18 years after that missed opportunity, the duo seems to have united for a big action film by Sajid Nadiadwala.
New Delhi: It's raining offers for Salman Khan. Not that he never lacked film offers in his 36-year career. However, as per the latest report, he may be working with pan-Indian director AR Murugadoss, who also offered him 'Ghajini' 18 years ago. The duo is expected to collaborate in a massive action film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. This film will also highlight Salman and Sajid's reunion 10 years later Stairs.
A report published in Rozevilla suggests that Salman has given his nod to this yet-to-be-titled film AR Murugadoss and he will be shooting for this film all year round. The action blockbuster is expected to be ready for an Eid 2025 release and everyone on board is excited about this collaboration. The report quoted a source close to the production as saying, “Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala have been discussing a possible collaboration for some time now. When Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss discussed this topic, the only name that came to their minds was Salman Khan, and when the producer discussed the film with Salman, it was an instant yes from the superstar.
Both 'Tiger vs Pathaan' and 'Prem Ki Shaadi' put on hold?
Interestingly, this adds to the rumors of Salman ditching his collaboration with Suraj Barjatya for a film tentatively titled 'Prem Ki Shaadi'. Even Aditya Chopra has decided to do one more film before she starts Tiger vs Pathan starring Salman and Shah Rukh Khan in their biggest collaboration yet. The superstar would spend the entire year shooting for the YRF project. However, now another film will enter the spy universe sooner Tiger vs Pathanit only seems logical for Salman to allocate this year's shooting period to another film, which could very well be this new project with Nadiadwala.
The film is reportedly being made on a budget of a whopping Rs 400 crore and will be shot extensively in Portugal, Europe and some parts of India. Not just Salman, but his entire team, along with the respective teams of Nadiadwala and Murugadoss, everyone is excited to shape their vision. “The meetings took place earlier this year and all the energies came together in the right way to get the film started as soon as possible. Of all the scripts that came his way in the past year, AR Murugados' film is one that excited him the most, making him prioritize the film,” the source said.
Salman's other films in the pipeline include Tiger vs Pathan, Kick 2, Dabangg 4, The Bull, And Prem Ki Shaadi. Muugadoss is known for directing major films such as Kaththi, Sarkar, Darbar, And Ghajini among other things. He also directed the Akshay Kumar starrer Holidays. Excited about this news?
