The secret bargain shop where retailers like River Island send new, cheap stock

A WOMAN has revealed she has found a secret bargain shop where you can buy brand new clothes for less from major retailers.

Savvy shopper Ella explained that you can find new clothes, as well as shoes and bags, at low prices at the bargain store in Wales.

While browsing the store, Ella managed to grab a variety of items from River Island – and even spotted purchases from Ted Baker.

Ella took to social media to warn fashionistas about the store: Newlife, a fashion store in Newport, Wales.

Newlife gives bargain lovers the chance to get their hands on big name brands at hugely reduced prices, whilst supporting a charity that supports disabled people children in need.

Newlife Newport is the ninth across the UK to join the Newlife family and has a wide range of fashion available for men, women and children, giving shoppers a huge range to choose from, all under one roof .

The store raises vital funds for its charitable services by working with over 300 leading retailers and manufacturers across the UK and Europe who donate items that would otherwise end up in landfill, mainly customer returns, faulty items or products that are not are more available.

Excited by her finds, Ella urged shoppers to visit the store, as she said: “If you don't know about this store called Newlife in Newport, you need to get to know it.

“So when Britain's biggest retailers run out of stock, or it's out of season, this is where all the brand new stock goes at heavily discounted prices!

“There is such a variety of things here that you really have to take a look.”

Not only did Ella discover a feather blouse from River Island, but she also found a jacket from Ted Baker, as she added: “I found this beautiful blouse from River Island for just £6.99.

'It had Ted Baker stuff in it.

“And I picked up this lovely blazer from River Island for just £5 and went home.”

She also spotted a whole host of other treats as she continued: “They have shoes here, bootsaccessories, handbags, scarves, hats.

“I ended up buying four River Island items for just £20.”

And if you're looking for children's fashion or plus size clothing, Ella later explained: “They have all their clothing divided into size categories. They have a 16+ department.”

She also wrote: “You're welcome girls.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ella. gives strengthhas clearly left many with their mouths open as it quickly racked up 61,500 views in just one day.

Social media users were impressed by the store's cheap offering and many were keen to visit.

One person said: “Omg I gotta go!!!”

Another said: “Thanks, I'll definitely visit again.”

Meanwhile, other bargain hunters shared their thoughts on the store.

One fashion fan said: “I love this store. I have so many bargains there.”

While someone else interjected: “Buy all my clothes here.”

At the same time, another shopper wrote: “Have you seen the bargain boxes there for £5? They have mystery boxes in different sizes and they are quite good.”

An enthusiastic visitor asked: “Is there enough parking there?”, to which Ella beamed: “Yes, lots of parking!”

Meanwhile, someone else asked: “Is this Newport in South Wales? If so… my plans for this weekend are resolved.”

To this Ella explained: “Yes, South Wales! Just at the Maeglas industrial estate.”

Not only this, but many shoppers also tagged their friends and loved ones, desperate for a trip to Newlife.

One shopper alerted a TikTok user, writing, “We gotta go.”

While a second asked a bargain hunter: “Shopping?”

In addition to equipment grants, Newlife's Emergency Equipment Loan Service aims to get families in crisis the equipment their child needs within 72 hours, anywhere in Britain.
