Selling Sunset's Nicole Young reveals the TRUTH behind those Nathan for You cameo rumors – after eagle-eyed fans were convinced she appeared in a hot pink swimsuit in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it clip

Selling Sunset's Nicole Young has finally confirmed that she once made a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo on the comedy series Nathan for You, after eagle-eyed fans were left guessing when a resurfaced clip circulated online.

Before getting her broker's license with the Oppenheim Group, the 37-year-old luxury real estate agent worked as a model and appeared in commercials.

Earlier this week, eagle-eyed fans also wondered if she was starring in the docu-comedy Nathan for You, after a clip from season two circulated online and appeared to show her dressed in a swimsuit.

In the 2014 episode entitled Taxi Service; Hot Dog Stand, Nathan, played by Nathan Fielder, tries to get press for a taxi company and goes out of his way to defend a hot dog stand's reputation.

Nicole appears for a few seconds as a model who is brought in to trick a man into believing he is the eatery's 10 millionth customer and has won a lobster lunch at sea – when in fact he is being tricked as punishment for feigning a doctor's appointment and skipping the line at a hot dog stand.

Dressed in a tiny pink bathing suit, she rides in a limousine next to the line cutter and a topless male model.

As the trio's vehicle approaches the dock, she is seen escorting the unsuspecting man to the boat.

Although Nicole doesn't have any lines, she does clap animatedly as the man expresses how excited he is to be rewarded with the extravagant meal.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Nicole revealed her agent had booked her for a role in the show – although she admits she was completely unfamiliar with it before heading to set.

She said: 'I'd never heard of Nathan for You before I showed up on set that day and to be honest I'm still not sure what the show is about.

'I got a call from my agent the day before saying she had booked me for a job and that was all the information I had.

'I imagine my facial expressions during the episode are quite entertaining because even while we were filming I had no idea what was happening!

Speaking to DailyMail.com, Nicole said: 'I imagine my facial expressions are quite entertaining because even while we were filming I had no idea what was happening!'

'I kept thinking: is this real? scripted? am I being punked? Are we punking someone else? It was an interesting day to say the least!'

Nicole added, “Funnily enough, because of my brief stint in advertising and modeling in my 20s, this job at Nathan for You is the only thing I still get residual checks from.”

Fans had been busy speculating whether she was really the woman in the scene on Reddit, with one user asking: 'I'm pretty sure I just caught Nicole as a boat model on Nathan for You season 2 episode 7 but I looked through the credits and she has a Nicole Kristin without a photo.

“Is this her middle name?” Has this come up?'

Replying to the thread, someone wrote, “I never thought I'd see Nathan for You and Selling Sunset cross paths.”

A third said: 'Oh my god I never thought it was her, she looks so different. Love Nathan for You and I saw the episode, so random!'
