Shaitaan actress Jyotika returns to Hindi films after 25 years

Shaitaan marks Jyotika’s return to Hindi films after 25 years and she reunites with R Madhavan after two decades.

Ajay Devgn, Jyotika and R Madhavan’s Shaitaan has created huge expectations with the recently released trailer. Ajay Devgn returns as the protective father, while R Madhavan’s portrayal of a sinister character sent shivers down the spine of the audience. Interesting enough, Shaitaan marks Jyotika’s return to Hindi films after 25 years. Moreover, it reunites her with R Madhavan after two decades, while it also marks her first collaboration with Ajay Devgn. This makes her fans eagerly await the release of this supernatural thriller.

Talking about her return to Bollywood after so many years, the actress said, “It’s my return to Bollywood after 25 years, and I think what I’m really looking forward to in a film today, after doing countless roles and different types of films. in the south there is something meaningful, something with great content. I even look for two or three good scenes for myself in a movie, and I feel like I could be a part of that. Shaitaan is very strong in terms of role and content and as a film I am extremely proud of it, so that is certainly the reason I chose it.’

The film takes audiences on a journey with Kabir and his family as their fun weekend getaway takes a nightmarish turn when they let a friendly yet mysterious stranger into their home. With the clock ticking, the family is forced to face their worst fears in this gripping story about the sinister elements of Indian black magic.

Presented by Jio Studios, Devgn Films and Panorama Studios, Shaitaan is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak and directed by Vikas Bahl. The film will be released in theaters on March 8, 2024.
