Sharon Osbourne reveals she tried to commit suicide nearly a decade ago after learning of husband Ozzy's four-year affair

Sharon Osbourne has honestly admitted she tried to commit suicide after learning of husband Ozzy Osbourne's four-year affair in 2016.

The TV personality, 71, discovered Ozzy's infidelity with a hairdresser named Michelle Pugh after searching his emails.

Ozzy, 75, and Michelle had a secret relationship between 2012 and 2016, during which he briefly split from Sharon.

And remembering her past heartbreak, Sharon said she tried to overdose because of his actions.

Speaking on stage with her friend Jane Moore on her Cut The C**p show last week, Sharon revealed: 'He always, always had groupies and I was so used to that.

“But if he knows the person's name, where they live and where they work… it's a whole different thing when you're emotionally involved. I took, I don't know how many pills.

'I just thought, 'My kids are older, they're doing well and can take care of themselves.' So I overdosed and locked myself in the bedroom. The maid tried to come in to clean the room and saw me.'

Upon discovering Ozzy's misdeeds, Sharon confirmed her split from the Black Sabbath rocker, whom she married in 1982, on her chat show The Talk in 2016 as she thanked her fans for their support.

She said, “I'm 63 years old, and I can't keep living like this… I've avoided looking at pictures or reading anything. I know what's going on.

'I don't need to read about it or see it. It's like putting salt in a wound. I don't have to… He's back, and now I'm out of the house.'

In 2019, Ozzy praised Sharon as a “god” for taking him back after his affair.

In an interview with The sun He said in the newspaper: 'Sharon and I have never been as close as we are now. It is awesome. Sharon has been a god.

He said, “We all make mistakes. I'm lucky she took me back. Sometimes I sit there and think, 'What the hell was I thinking?' I won't understand why it happened until the day I die.'

Sharon claimed in a 2017 interview with the Telegraph that there were several women Ozzy cheated on her with.

She said, “There were six: a Russian teenager, then a masseuse in England, our masseuse here, and then our chef.”

She gave a stark warning to other women, saying: 'He had wives in different countries. Basically, if you're a woman who gives Ozzy a back massage or a food cart, God help you.

Celebrity hairstylist Michelle was thrust into the spotlight when her affair with Ozzy was revealed, telling People at the time, “When I say he gave me the greatest love of my life, I mean it.”

Ozzy said it was a purely physical relationship that stemmed from his sex addiction, for which he eventually entered “intense therapy.”
