SHOCKING footage shows the moment a metro passenger was thrown to the ground during a brawl on the edge of the platform.

Video of last night's ugly scenes shows four men punching and kicking each other as the fight spreads to the train.

A man is seen being dragged from the carriage by three other men as stunned passengers looked on.

The trio then begin landing a series of kicks and punches on the man as he stumbles around on the ground. London Underground.

But he manages to withstand the blows and begins to throw himself backwards while lying flat on his back.

He manages to get back on his feet and lands a few more blows before the fight in the capital comes to a standstill.

You can see other terrified passengers trying to get out of the way as the chaos unfolded.

The brawl lasted until a Transport for London (TfL) employee separates them.

They can be heard hurling a number of vile insults at each other as members of the audience shout for them to stop.

The sun has the British Transport Police (BTP) to confirm when and where the fight took place.

The BTP said they were aware of the incident and investigations were ongoing.

In a statement, police said: “We urge anyone who was involved in this incident or saw it happen to contact us by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting from reference 279 of 28/01/24.”

TfL was also contacted for comment.

The video went viral after it was posted on Facebook social media Today.

And viewers were quick to share their thoughts in the comments section.

One person wrote: “I don't miss the underground one bit.”

Another said: “Come to London they said. It will be fun, they said.”

Others made light of the situation, saying: “What kind of wrestling mania is this,” while someone else added: “Average day in London.”
