SHOPPERS are rushing to their nearest bargains to snap up a “fancy” homeware purchase that costs half as much as the Matalan version.

Interior design fans can’t get enough of the budget retailer’s oval glass ribbed vase after spotting it in store.

And the £5.99 piece is very similar to a £14 version in Matalan.

Home Bargains shared a video of the vase on their social media channels, writing: “Have you spotted our new beautiful ribbed vase?! £5.99.”

Bargain hunters quickly headed to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook Group – with 2.4 million members – to share their love for the stylish vase.

Christina posted a photo of it on the page and said: “I found the same vase for £5.99 at bargain home or £14 in Matalan!!”

Someone else wrote: “It’s beautiful!!”

A third added: “I saw this, here we go.”

A fourth chimed in: “Omg I’m coming home tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, another gushed: “It is so the vase.”

Unfortunately, the Home Bargains ribbed vase is only available in stores, so you’ll have to be quick to get your hands on one.

And some shoppers are already disappointed, as one said: “I can’t find it anywhere, not even on the website arghhhh.”

Another echoed: “They don’t have it in ours.”

“Where are these house deals with all the good stuff on display here?” asked a third.

“None of this could ever be found in my nearest one, about a 40 minute drive away! Gutted.”

And if you’re looking for a house bargain, try the new one opening near Glasgow after a huge £3 million investment.

The much-loved discount retailer is opening its third branch in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, this weekend.

Elsewhere, Home Bargains fans have reason to celebrate after the discount retailer started selling their Sol de Janeiro body butter dupes online.

The products have been sold out in stores for weeks, but an observant shopper spotted the product online.

Sol de Janeiro’s originals – like the beloved Bum Bum cream – are considerably more expensive.

While the Home Bargains versions cost £4.49 for 200ml, the originals cost £35 for 150ml – a saving of a whopping £30.
