And Ferguson will be hoping at least one of his horses can take victory on day three.

Four of his horses are in action today as the 82-year-old looks to win a cool prize worth £342,192.

The first of his horses to run today, Monmiral, will run the £56,270 Pertamps Handicap Hurdle for the winner at 2.10pm.

He will then run two horses in the 2.50pm Ryanair Chase.

Those horses are Protektorat and Hitman.

The Ryanair winner could pocket a whopping £218,398, although Ferguson’s total winnings could be even higher if both horses finish in the places.

Il Ridoto, Fergie’s final horse of the day, takes part in the Festival Plate Handicap Chase at 4.10pm.

The prize for that run is £67,524.

Ferguson won just under a million pounds when his horse Spirit Dancer won in Saudi Arabia last month.
