I don’t want a penny of my sister’s £61million lotto winnings – she BLANKED me at the supermarket

THE estranged brother of a £61million EuroMillions winner has insisted he doesn’t want a penny of his sister’s fortune – even claiming she turned him away at his local Asda.

Debbie Nuttall’s once close brother Glen says the two have not spoken since a bitter feud broke out more than 20 years ago.

Glen, who caught wind of his sister’s life-changing victory while reading the newspaper, added that he has tried in vain to resolve their feud.

“My son messaged me and said, ‘Dad, I know you don’t want to know, but look at this’ and he sent me a clipping from the newspaper,” Glen told the Mirror.

“I didn’t know anything about it. I said, ‘Is it a joke?'”

The siblings have been embroiled in the dispute since they were both in their early 30s.

Glen also claimed that Debbie turned the other way as he and his son walked past her in the supermarket.

He claimed: “She hasn’t really spoken to me since. I may have said the strangest word to her, but I saw her in Asda and she shut me up.

“She walked right past my son and never said a word.”

Glen is currently living in temporary accommodation with his autistic son while on benefits, he claimed.

But he doesn’t expect a cent from his older sister’s huge windfall.

Furious, he said, “Hang up a begging bowl? Absolutely not.”

The father confessed that the couple had a close bond during their childhood.

Glen recalled fond memories of growing up together, including sharing the same bedroom.

He also explained that she cared for him when he faced mental health issues in his late teens.

Despite the division in the family, the little brother says he holds no ill will over his sister’s staggering wealth.

He said: “I have no animosity towards her. I wasn’t jealous or anything like that. I may seem bitter, but I’m really not.”

Debbie’s husband Richard previously revealed that they initially thought they had won £2.60, but then received another email asking the couple to check their account.

The couple were enjoying a holiday in Fuerteventura, celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary, when they discovered the big win.

The pair claimed they planned to donate a large portion of their profits to charity.

They are ambassadors for BK’S HEROES, founded in memory of Debbie’s cousin Ben King after he died aged 27 from a rare condition, tubular interstitial nephritis and uveitis.

Debbie’s dad John said: “She has a brother but she doesn’t see him.”

Debbie and Richard declined to comment to The Mirror.

It comes as the Debbie’s former husband Paul Ridge, 76, was forced to watch from the sidelines as his ex-wife Debbie Nuttall, 54, claimed the latest EuroMillions jackpot.
