SSC GD Re-examination 2024: The Personnel Selection Committee (SSC) will conduct the re-examination for the computer exam Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Forces (CAPFS), SSF and Rifleman (GD). Who can appear for the SSC GD Constable re-examination 2024?

Only the candidates who previously appeared in the Computer Based Exam for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2024 conducted by the Commission from February 20 to March 7 will be allowed to appear for the re-examination.

SSC GD Constable 2024 Educational Qualification

  • The candidates must have passed the entrance exam or 10th class exam from a recognized board/university.
  • Candidates who have not obtained the essential educational qualification by the stipulated date are not eligible and need not apply.
  • As per the notification of the Ministry of Human Resource Development dated 10-06-2015 published in the Gazette of India, all degrees/diplomas/certificates are awarded through open and distance learning mode by the universities established by an Act of Parliament or the State Legislature, institutions Deemed to be universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and institutions of national importance declared under an Act, they are automatically recognized for the purpose of employment in posts and services under the Central Government , provided they are approved by the Distance Education Bureau, Commission on University Scholarships. Accordingly, unless such degrees are recognized for the relevant period during which the candidates acquired the qualification, they will not be accepted for the purpose of the educational qualification.
