Darwin guy whose 'super Viagra' overdose ended in tears at Hungry Jack drive-thru unleashes angry spray on Ray Hadley – after shock jock blows up over incident

A ferocious war of words has erupted between presenter Ray Hadley and a guy whose experiment with 'super Viagra' ended with him exposing himself at a Hungry Jack drive-thru.

David Bruce Richardson, 51, made headlines after he was convicted over an incident in which he accidentally exposed his genitals to a 16-year-old worker at a fast food restaurant in the Northern Territory last September.

A farrier from Humpty Doo, south of Darwin, was this week granted a nine-month good behavior bail at the Darwin Local Court after Judge Therese Austin accepted Richardson's bill.

The court heard he accidentally flashed the young woman after taking a powerful dose of Viagra, causing him extreme pain in his genitals.

Apparently, he then went through the drive-thru – on his way to get food for help – wearing only a towel.

The court found that there was no “sexual” intent, but the young service member who saw Richardson's genitals was said to have been traumatized and embarrassed.

Richardson broke his silence to Daily Mail Australia yesterday to express his regret and admitted he had 'made a mistake'.

But broadcaster Ray Hadley slammed both the court's decision and Richardson during an on-air discussion with 2GB colleague Ben Fordham on Thursday morning.

“It sounds like a bunch of poppies to me,” Hadley said.

“He was probably better off feeding the chows than what he was doing at Hungry Jack's.”

Hadley then questioned the leniency of the sentence.

“The magistrate fell because of the biggest nonsense I have heard in my life,” he continued.

His strong views prompted Fordham to defend Richardson.

“I don't know, he says it was a big mistake with the pill he took…” Fordham began before being interrupted by his colleague.

“Listen, come into the real world with us,” Hadley snapped.

“He came up with a lot of nonsense that somehow made the magistrate think, 'That sounds reasonable.'

“She also lives in another universe.”

Richardson fired back with his own scathing response when told about the broadcaster's tirade on Thursday afternoon.

“The court has found me innocent, so Ray Hadley can stick his microphone up his ass,” he told Daily Mail Australia.

'All the people who know me and the support I receive from customer friends have helped me further.

'That was yesterday. Time to switch to a new story.'

Richardson even pleaded guilty to the incident and received a nine-month good behavior bond.

He insisted he was a good person, but had some foul words toward Hadley.

“Please tell him to go fuck himself,” he said.

“Sorry for the language, but that's how I think about it.”

Hours earlier, a contrite Richardson admitted that he had “made a mistake” and “honestly, he didn't think the [Hungry Jack’s] workers would see me'.

“I was trying not to expose myself to the poor young girl,” he told Daily Mail Australia.

'The pill (called Pit Bull Super) was far too strong. I'm surprised it's legal to sell that stuff, and I was in a lot of pain.

“I tried not to show myself to anyone. I just wanted to grab some food and go home.”

Richardson said he had to “rest” for several days after the effects of the “super Viagra” wore off.

However, the fallout from the lawsuit has taken a significant toll on his mental health.

'It has caused me a lot of sadness and fear. I really played with my mind,” he said.

'Then there's the shame of talking to the police about it and having it become front-page news in the local newspaper.'

Richardson's ill-fated Hungry Jack's run last September took place a day after he took a sexual enhancement drug called 'Pit Bull Super'.

He had attended an orgy with 'friends' at a local hotel, but as a result of taking the pill, which is not approved by the TGA, Richardson's erection would not subside and it became 'extremely painful'.

“He was with a number of young ladies and they were having relationships and he says his erection would not stop and it became extremely painful,” Richardson's lawyer Peter Maley told Darwin Local Court, as first reported by NT news.

The attorney said Richardson “freaked out” and “began to split the side of his penis due to the lack of circulation.”

Richardson then drove home and grabbed a towel, but said he couldn't touch his penis because it felt like it was “about to explode.”

“He stopped at Hungry Jack's, he bought some food, there was a towel, he says he didn't get out of the car, he was terribly embarrassed,” Mr Maley said.

Judge Austin agreed that the packet of Pit Bull Super he consumed looked “dangerous” but told the court Richardson should have gone to hospital instead of the drive-thru.

The judge imposed a nine-month good behavior bond on Richardson.

“There is no evidence that you intended to behave for any form of sexual gratification,” Judge Austin told Richardson.

Although Pit Bull Super is advertised as a “natural formula,” it actually contains the prescription-only medications sildenafil (Viagra) and tadalafil (Cialis), which are used to treat erectile dysfunction in men.
