The nominations for the 2024 Razzie Awards were announced on Monday morning.

The Razzies are awarded each year to artists and films that are considered the “worst.”

This year the film Expend4bles tops the list with seven nominations.

Jennifer Lopez (for The Mother) and Megan Fox (for Johnny & Clyde) were among the ladies named Worst Actress, along with Ana de Armas for Ghosted, Salma Hayek for Magic Mike's Last Dance and Dame Helen Mirren for Shazam! Anger of the gods.

Fox was also listed in the Worst Supporting Actress category for her acting in Expend4bles alongside Kim Cattrall for About My Father, Bai Ling for Johnny & Clyde, Lucy Liu for Shazam! Fury of the Gods and Mary Stuart Masterson for Five Nights at Freddy's.

The Golden Raspberry Awards is a parody awards ceremony honoring the worst cinematic “failures.”

The awards ceremony was co-founded in 1981 by UCLA film graduates and film industry veterans John JB Wilson and Mo Murphy.

Razzie nominations are determined by a select committee before ballots are issued to members. Anyone can become a voting member of the Razzies by paying a $40 annual fee or a $500 lifetime membership.

The satirical annual ceremony of the Razzie Awards is preceded by its opposite, the Academy Awards, by four decades.

In 2023, after backlash for nominating 12-year-old Ryan Kiera Armstrong for Worst Actress, the Golden Raspberry Awards withdrew the nomination and said those under the age of 18 would no longer be nominated.

And by doing the “good work” with her past relationships, and the experience that comes with them, Cattrall claims she was able to share a “meaningful” romance with Thomas.

‘It’s hard work. It is not easy. People feel it’s something that happens, and you’re in luck. Happiness is where preparation meets opportunity,” she shared of her relationship philosophy.

“And you meet this person and the work has just begun, but it’s not a negative kind of work. This is good work. This makes sense for your life. So to me, I’m less romantic or sensual about it.
