Tarek El Moussa on 911 call that ended Christina Hall's marriage
Tarek El Moussa broke his silence on the 911 incident that unraveled his relationship with him Christina Hall.
In an exception from his upcoming book, Turn Your Life Around: How to Find Opportunity in Need – in Real Estate, Business, and LifeEl Moussa wrote that after he “went to our backyard in Yorba Linda and jumped the fence” following a heated argument with Hall, 40, in 2016.
El Moussa brought his licensed .38-caliber pistol when he went running because of the mountain lions and bobcats at neighboring Chino Hills State Park.
“A police officer leaning out of the helicopter pointed a gun at me. Dust swirled around me as the blades turned, and a loudspeaker crackled: 'Put your hands in the air!'” he wrote in his book, per People. “I heard an officer shout, 'Tarek?' I shouted back, 'Yes! I'm the TV guy! What are you doing?'”
El Moussa continued: “For the next few hours, I sat handcuffed to a cooler in my driveway. That was the very last time we were together as a family: with Christina walking down the driveway crying, and me sitting there in handcuffs and asking myself, what the hell is going on?

An eyewitness told police at the time that Hall was “crying and shaking,” while El Moussa told officers he “had no intention of hurting himself.” He agreed to “voluntarily relinquish all his firearms” after the incident.
Tellingly, El Moussa called the weeks after their breakup a “physical and emotional hell.” People on Wednesday, January 31: “Everyone gave up on me: the magazines, the outlets, the network, no one believed in me.”

“I have nothing against Christina. I understand why she did what she did. We had a lot of difficult years because of my illnesses and my mental health problems because of the testosterone,” he revealed on Wednesday. “I've never said this before.”

Hall and Anstead, 44, married in December 2018 and announced three months later that they were expecting their first child together. A year after welcoming son Hudson, Hall announced that she and Anstead were calling it quits.
Christina found love again with it Josh Hallwhom she married in 2022. Meanwhile, El Moussa started dating Heather Rae El Moussa (née Young) and they married in 2021. The couple welcomed their first child together, son Tristan, in January 2023.
