Taylor Swift's American fans have been confused by one detail during her concerts in Melbourne.

Swift made history by performing in front of the largest ever crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) this weekend.

Visit Melbourne's tourism TikTok account shared some aerial footage of the MCG, filled with concertgoers.

But many American fans quickly wondered where all the fans had parked their cars.

'Stupid question, but where do people park?' asked one fan, while another asked, “Where did everyone park?”

“If that was the US the stadium would be surrounded by an asphalt dessert of parking lots,” wrote a third.

“I'm just trying to figure out where all their cars are,” said another.

“How did you park so many people!?!?!” one person wondered.

Swift took the stage just after 7pm on Friday evening for the first show of her Australian leg of the tour in front of a dazzling crowd of 96,000 concertgoers.

“My name is Taylor and I will be your host tonight,” she said as she kicked off the highly anticipated show.”

“It drives me crazy to think there are 96,000 people here. This is the biggest show we've ever done.'
