Tennis star Matteo Berrettini splits from sex-addicted supermodel girlfriend Melissa Satta after ‘very intense’ year-long relationship

Italian tennis star Matteo Berrettini has split from his sex-addicted supermodel girlfriend Melissa Satta after an ‘intense’ relationship.

The 27-year-old former Wimbledon finalist started dating 38-year-old Satta – who once admitted to having sex ‘seven to 10 times a week’ – in January last year.

But Berrettini has now confirmed the pair have parted ways amicably, despite problems in the relationship.

He said, “Melissa Satta and I are no longer together. What I can say is that we have had a beautiful, intense relationship and that we have a lot of respect for each other.

‘I’m not going to continue with this, I don’t like sharing my private life. Nothing special happened.

‘I have to thank her for the period when we lived together very intensely despite all the difficulties.’

Satta has a long history of dating sports stars. She was in a five-year relationship with former Italy and Inter Milan striker Christian Vieri, but her alleged infidelity ended things.

Seven months after they split, she was engaged to 43-year-old Italian businessman Gianluca Vacchi.

But when she was spotted outside a hotel with Kobe Bryant in 2011, it reportedly led to the NBA legend’s wife Vanessa filing for divorce before they later reconciled.

Satta also linked up with former Aston Villa striker John Carew before dating Kevin-Prince Boateng, the former Tottenham, Portsmouth and AC Milan player.

The model made headlines in 2012 when she said: ‘The reason why he [Boateng] The fact that he is always injured is because we have sex seven to ten times a week.

‘I hate foreplay, I want to go for it straight away. I prefer to be at the top, so that I am in control.’

They married in June 2016 and have a son, Maddox Prince, who is now nine. After a period apart in 2019, they divorced in December 2020.

‘I didn’t expect it, it wasn’t my choice. I did my best, but it didn’t go as I had hoped,” she said about the breakup at the time.

Satta was previously married to footballer Kevin-Prince Boateng and they have one child

Satta has modeled for Sports Illustrated and Maxim magazines in the past and has worked as a presenter on sports programs for Sky Italia and Mediaset.

Satta struck out against trolls last year after Berrettini suffered from injuries.

“It was something that had been going on for months when our story broke in January,” she says Vanity fairof the abuse she suffered.

‘[They say] ‘Berrettini doesn’t win because Satta distracts him, she is too demanding’… But I held back.’

Satti, who was once featured as a model in Sports Illustrated, added: “[This has happened before] with my ex-husband [Boateng] who suffered from pubalgia.

‘Even there they attacked me and said we had had too much sex and that was the cause of his physical problems.

‘[The injury Berrettini has] is an injury in the same place as the one in 2021, when I didn’t know him yet. But either way, do I really have to be accountable to these people?’
