Tesco launches Valentine's Day meal deal including steak and millionaire pies

TESCO is offering lovebirds a Valentine's Day meal for two for just £12, where you can grab a tender steak and a bottle of prosecco.

Shoppers can surprise friends and loved ones on Valentine's Day this year with an at-home dining experience, featuring delicious, easy-to-prepare food and drinks.

Britain's largest supermarket chain will start selling the deal in stores and online from February 8.

The deal includes one side, one dessert and one drink for £12, but you can add a starter for £4, bringing the total to £18.

The deal is exclusive to Clubcard customers. If you don't have a loyalty card you will have to purchase the items separately and this can cost up to £21.60.

Tesco boasts that this year it has added new side dishes, main dishes, desserts and drinks for shoppers to choose from.

This includes Tesco Finest Al Forno Lasagne, with beef ragu layered with fresh egg pasta and creamy béchamel sauce, on sale for £7.50.

As well as rich, delicious Belgian chocolate cubes, filled with a hidden raspberry center and finished with a red heart, usually priced at £3.75.

Vegans can try caramel tarts with a gluten-free cookie with layers of caramel cream, salted caramel and coconut cream, finished with a layer of chocolate ganache and a pinch of sugar. These come in packs of two, usually priced at £3.95.
