TESCO has unveiled a new label that will appear on more than 450 items.
The supermarket giant has changed course with the M-tick logo that appeared on its products this week.
The aim of the label – the first of its kind – is to show customers which products are menopause-friendly.
Eligible items are marked with an M check mark and these labels are displayed on products both in-store and online.
Menopause is a natural part of aging and usually occurs when a woman is between 45 and 55 years old.
In Britain, the average age at which a woman goes through menopause is 51 years.
It occurs when estrogen levels in the body begin to drop.
During this period, periods become less frequent or may stop suddenly, and after menopause occurs, women will no longer be able to conceive naturally.
In some cases a menopause-friendly section has also been set up Tesco stores help shoppers find these special items and show which ones are safe to use during the menopause.
The new sections could be installed at the end of an aisle in almost 200 stores across Britain over the next six weeks.
There are currently more than 48 recognized menopausal complaints, of which more than 70 percent experience one or more.
Many of the symptoms can be debilitating, so easy access to products that can ease the discomfort can make a big difference for many.
Among the items featured in the special displays are Vitabiotics vitamins, Nivea, Olay and Simple skin care products, as well as Tena and Always products.
Davina McCall's best-selling new book, Menopausing, will also be on display.
It comes as Tesco shoppers rush to buy a winter warmer at an incredible price.
Shoppers took to a social media post to confirm the cozy warmer is 'heaven'.

Boots Pharmacy has a whole range of products to help people suffering from any of the above problems.
These include a specially designed range of menopausal skin care products, supplements and body washes.
According to Health Line, there are some natural ways to relieve symptoms.
It recommends eating foods rich in calcium and vitamin D to improve bone health and prevent weakness.
Examples of these foods include green leafy vegetables such as kale and dairy products such as milk and yogurt.
It also suggests natural supplements to relieve symptoms and says no evidence has been found for their effectiveness.
These include black cohosh and red clover.
Some studies have found that black cohosh can effectively relieve hot flashes, but the evidence is mixed and there is a lack of long-term data on the safety of this supplement.
A review of studies found that red clover isoflavone supplements may help reduce the daily frequency of hot flashes from a baseline of three per day.
But the study authors noted that more specific research is needed to confirm the effects.
