An eminent royal biographer believes the future of the monarchy depends on the 'eradication of the Sussexes' following Prince Harry's brief visit to the King following his cancer diagnosis.

Tom Bower launched a blistering attack on the Duke of Sussex, branding him a 'traitor' as he discussed his meeting with Charles at this week's meeting. The reactionMail's new YouTube talk show.

It was hoped that the disturbing news of the King's illness would bring Harry closer to his father and his brother, the Prince of Wales, after years of vicious attacks on the monarchy.

But Mr Bower told Mail columnists Sarah Vine and Andrew Pierce that the opposite is the case.

The author of 'Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War between the Windsors' gave his opinion in this week's episode: 'I think the monarchy actually depends on actually destroying the Sussexes from our state of life, because their continuation is bad is for us. .

'I'm absolutely furious that he was even allowed to land in London and then given a special escort to Clarence House.

'I think it's interesting that given the large number of bedrooms they have in Buckingham Palace and all the other palaces in London, he had to stay in a hotel.'

Harry was pictured at Heathrow Airport this afternoon (Wednesday) as he prepared to leave the UK after just 24 hours.

Bower's pointed comments come after Harry, 39, spent a short time with his 75-year-old father – despite not seeing him for 17 months – after the king informed him of his cancer over the phone.

They met at Clarence House before the king went to Buckingham Palace to board a helicopter to take him with his wife, Queen Camilla, to Sandringham, in Norfolk.

Buckingham Palace confirmed on Monday that the king has begun immediate treatment for an unspecified form of cancer after “a concerning issue” was discovered during recent treatment for a benign enlarged prostate.

Due to his condition, the king has decided to postpone his public appearances during his treatment, but he will continue to work hard behind the scenes.

The hosts also debated whether there is any hope for forgiveness and healing between the royal family and the Sussexes.

Sources told the Mail yesterday while William, 41, respects his father's decision to 'keep the door ajar' for Harry, reconciliation 'is not currently an option for him personally' while he is with his wife, the Princess of Wales , stays. at the bedside after her abdominal surgery.

Mr Bower argued: 'You cannot reconcile with a man who has made a living for the last three years by being such a traitor and causing him so much misfortune. I mean, he really did it very deliberately. I mean, he's not a boy, he's almost forty.”

Ms Vine and Mr Pierce praised the King for telling the public about his condition, but they debate whether he should have said what form of cancer he has after it was confirmed it was not prostate cancer.

Mr Pierce said: 'The King was transparent to a certain extent but then he became more opaque about the cancer, saying 'he is being treated for cancer'. The speculation is lurid, Sarah. He might as well eat the whole pig.”

But Ms. Vine argued: “I really don't agree with you. I think sometimes people need to keep a part of themselves private, especially when like him you're on a stretcher for everyone to see.”

The presenters further discussed how to keep your children safe online following the horrific cases of murdered teenager Brianna Ghey in Warrington and the news that Jennifer Crumbley has become the first parent in America to be jailed over her son's murder of four children during a school shooting.

But on a lighter note, they asked whether model and actress Holly Valance could be the savior of the Conservative Party?

The Australian former Neighbors star, now married to British property mogul Nick Candy, yesterday attended Liz Truss' new 'PopCon' event for popular modern conservatives and branded left-wing ideas as 'nonsense'.
