The Morning Show's Kylie Gillies delivers touching tribute to husband Tony ahead of Valentine's Day: 'My love letter to him'

Kylie Gillies paid a heartwarming tribute to her husband Tony on Tuesday, ahead of Valentine's Day.

The Morning Show star, 56, shared a precious photo on Instagram of her and Tony lovingly embracing, alongside another image of Kylie and her beloved son Gus.

Kylie captioned the photo with some heartfelt words.

'This is a Valentine's post. Not about our oldest Gus, but about his father, whose kindness allowed this photo to be taken,” she began.

'I hadn't seen Gus in seven months. He has been on holiday in Europe and has been working. I missed him and in the post-Christmas break from The Morning Show there was a small window where I was able to fly to Vienna to see him,” she continued.

“Tony didn't hesitate. He said, “Go. Just do it. I will hold the fort here. I want you to do that.” We had a few obligations at home. And [my son] Archie was about to embark on his own (short) OS adventure. But Tone was convinced I did it,” she added.

'It's not like we need each other's permission to do anything. But we are a team. And flying solo felt a little strange. Selfish even.

'But it filled my heart. As Tony knew it would be…

“So I guess Tony will be 'paid in full' for Valentine's Day until the end of time. And this is my love letter to him xx ❤️ (I didn't buy him any chocolates either!) Kylie concluded.

Many of Kylie's followers were quick to send their well wishes to the happy couple.

'What a team! Happy V-Day guys,” one fan wrote.

“What a beautiful post, words and photo,” another added.

The television host opened up about motherhood in an interview with Good Health magazine in May.

“My weekends and weeknights are full of sporting events for the boys,” she said.

'Being a mother of teenagers is great, but it's busy. It's a full-time job, coupled with my full-time TV job.'

Last year, the couple celebrated a huge wedding milestone as they reached their 34th wedding anniversary.
