Cut out “chicken or beef” and stale sandwiches.
A fleet of big-wallet travelers and private jet crews has revealed how the other half lives when it comes to fine dining in the air — and it’s a world away from the standard fare on commercial flights.
Travel writer Jordi Lippe-McGraw revealed in one of its TikToks how private jet firm VistaJet is offering a nine-course tasting menu from celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa, with some of the appetizers including yellowtail jalapeno, a sashimi salad, black cod with miso, and prime beef tenderloin.
To top it all off, one of the dishes – steamed salmon topped with dry miso – is found nowhere else in the world and made especially for private jet guests.

This is served with “one of Nobu’s most exclusive sakes,” and Lippe-McGraw explains that when this experience is over, there’s a bed in the back of the plane where travelers can rest and let their food go downstairs.
In another TikTok, flight attendant of a private jet ‘Jacqueline travels’ reveals that her guests are treated to similar culinary delights.
The nine-course selection she presents to viewers includes crispy Brussels sprouts, robata octopus, charred avocado, salmon sudachi, toro nigiri, octopus dako, spicy yellowtail, miso soup, and a bowl of fresh fruit.
A chocolate chip cookie and an americano are also thrown in for good measure.
Fellow stewardess of a private jet Kristen M also made a TikTok with the treats its passengers get.
In the hunger-inducing clip, viewers see jars of caviar, lavish platters of artfully arranged meats and cheeses, succulent prawns, artisan pies, and bottles of vintage Dom Perignon champagne.
In another TikToks from Kristen, she reveals how a passenger asked for large quantities of sushi, with all the table tops decorated with pieces of fish.
“These are goals,” she captioned the clip.
