Fans of The Traitors are paying homage to host Claudia Winkleman’s style – by wearing wigs to emulate her trademark fringe and lapping on dramatically dark eye make-up – ahead of tonight’s series finale.

The second season has seen audiences obsessed with the presenter, 52, and her nod to country style with a commitment to cable-knit couture – albeit with a theatrically dark flair.

And viewers took to social media to showcase their own creative get togethers as this evening brings the last episode to the screen.

Fifis Pond, from Cornwall shared behind the scene preparations on their TikTok @enzochini, featuring plenty of eyeshadow prep as they stared down the camera.

Elsewhere, Bradley Hunt (@thebradleyhunt) emulated Claudia’s signature raven tresses and choppy fringe with a wig, and sported a monochrome ensemble with a trench coat thrown over it, for a TikTok earlier this week.

And in a video shared by @braddd.1, one faithful watcher dressed up as the host even committed to a dramatic monologue.

Harriet (@hattymay) also shared an homage to the TV star with a video showing one fan dressed up in a fluffy bathrobe – to channel a winter coat – and sporting  a choppy side-bang.

Meanwhile, @connolly_reece took to X to show a snap of their adorable dressed-up pooch wearing a chunky olive knit and a frazzled wig.

Claudia’s sense of style has been winning audiences over since The Traitors second season kicked off earlier this month.

According to Drapers, ‘millions’ of consumers have been inspired by her aesthetics, marked by ‘chunky knits, woollen blazers and full-length coats’ – as well as kilts and tartan – in an homage to the Scottish Highlands, where the show is set.

Speaking to the outlet, Scarlet McNicol, client executive at media research company Kantar’s fashion team, revealed there was a ‘notable uptick’ in green and brown clothing in the run-up to the show’s airing on January 3.

She added: ‘This trend is evident in various product categories, including women’s outerwear, wool and cashmere jumpers, and women’s waistcoats, all exhibiting robust single-digit growth compared to 2022 levels.’

It comes as fans of The Traitors across the UK are gearing up to see out the second series in style with themed watch parties.

As the gripping game of deception and manipulation draws to a close, traitors Harry and Andrew will battle against faithful Mollie, Evie and Jaz as the two sides fight to secure the prize money in tonight’s final. If there are any traitors remaining by the end of the episode, they steal the prize pot from the faithful.

There’s no denying that the BBC One hit reality competition has truly captured the attention of the nation and it appears the final has even become a cultural event, with public venues up and down the UK offering watch parties, while other people throw their own themed shindigs at home.

Selected cinemas have even decided to show the final on their big screens, while fans of the show have been arranging their own viewing parties on social media.

Independent cinema Catford Mews in south east London is hosting its very own Traitors Party were viewers will be served sparkling wine in a themed goblet – as a nod to fallen Faithful Diane who came to her demise when she took the poisoned chalice – and can tuck into some nachos, popcorn and wine or beer.

Taking to social media, a cinema spokesperson added: ‘We’re 100% on our decision to screen #TheTraitors live final this Friday. Pop the fizzy rosé, take a seat at our round tables and watch The Traitors on the projector in our foyer.

‘We’ll have some fabulous Traitors special combo deals, so you can kick back with your (poisoned) chalice and nachos and get ready for the drama to unfold. Eagerly taking your predictions (just for fun, let’s goss) for the final!’

Meanwhile in Manchester, street food market GRUB is hosting a now sold-out ‘The Traitors Finale Screening Party’.

Taking to their website, event organisers explained doors will open from 7pm tonight, to catch up on the previous two nail-biting episodes that have already aired, before settling in to watch the finale live from 9pm, and then debriefing it all with your mates during the last episode of The Traitors: Uncloaked afterwards.

Watching all the drama unfold live on a big screen and finally see whether the Traitors or the Faithful will take home the prize pot.

Posting on their website they said: ‘There will also be free drinks on offer for anyone who comes dressed in a cloak, or with a solid Claudia Winkleman-esque fringe.’

Another viewing party is being held at the Siberia Bar & Hotel, in Aberdeen, Scotland – a little closer to where the series was filmed.

Many fans of the show also took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to say they are having their own watch parties.

It comes after fans have predicted who will win during Friday’s highly-anticipated final.

It comes after Jasmine became the latest contestant to be banished during Thursday’s episode of The Traitors as the final five were revealed.

As the gripping game of deception and manipulation draws to a close traitors Harry and Andrew will battle against Faithful Mollie, Evie and Jaz as the two sides fight to secure the prize money in Friday’s final.

Yet sadly Jasmine fell at the last hurdles as she received the most votes at the dreaded roundtable.

The votes were split between Jasmine, Andrew and Evie as the players shared their theories.

Evie in particular was convinced Jasmine was a Traitor as she explained: ‘You have been acting really shifty, I haven’t been acting shifty, you have been defending traitors, I haven’t been defending traitors.’

‘How have I been acting shifty?’ pleaded Jasmine, as Evie replied: ‘You have…babe. You’re the one defending traitors’.

Jasmine attempted to defend herself by rewinding back to Zack’s theory about Harry’s shield.

As she and Evie were the only players who didn’t know about the shield she strongly believed that only left Evie as the potential Traitor.

Yet the other’s were not convinced, and Jasmine was banished as the players failed to catch one of the two remaining Faithful.
