The View host Ana Navarro admits her husband Al Cardenas is ‘crazy JEALOUS’ of her close friendship with Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Marc Anthony – but insists there’s nothing between them: ‘I’d probably kiss him with my thighs can kill!’

The View’s Ana Navarro has admitted that her husband Al Cárdenas is “insanely jealous” of her friendship with Puerto Rican singer Marc Anthony.

Ana, 51, branded Al, 75, “territorial” and “old school” when she revealed he was dating Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband.

On The View: Behind the Table podcast, the brunette told executive producer Brian Teta, “My husband is crazy jealous for some crazy reason — and I laugh about it all the time — of Marc Anthony.

‘I’m like, “Al, you realize he’s married to JLo and two Miss Universes! Trust me, I’m not his type!” Not to mention that I’m the same age as him, that does not work!”

Ana posted a selfie with Marc and New York City Police Commissioner Edward Caban (center) in October 2023.

Brian suggested she find it ‘flattering’ that her husband thinks Marc ‘might steal’ [her] away,” to which she joked, “You realize I could probably kill him with my thighs!”

‘I love him. I adore him, adore him, adore him! And I love his new wife,” she added, referring to Paraguayan fashion model Nadia Ferreira, who married Marc in January.

The political strategist and commentator married the Cuban-born lawyer in March 2019 in a beachside ceremony in Florida attended by stars including Eva Longoria, Gloria Estefan and Mitt Romney.

Ana opened up about her husband’s apparent jealousy when discussing Taylor Lautner’s friendship with his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

“I was fascinated by the idea that his ex, Taylor Swift, would call him now that he’s married to the other Taylor and ask him to be part of her new video,” Ana said, referring to the video for the song I Can by the hitmaker. See you soon.

“Okay, I don’t know about you, but if my ex were to call my house and ask me to do something for him, my husband… but of course my husband is Cuban and territorial and jealous and old school. ..my husband would have a fit!’

Her comments come less than three weeks after she took to Instagram to talk about Marc after spending time with him at the annual Night of the Stars gala in New York City.

She posted a photo of her with her co-host Whoopi Goldberg, as well as a selfie with Marc and New York City Police Commissioner Edward Caban, writing, “It was special celebrating two people [heart emoji] and admire. @whoopigoldberg and @marcanthony were both honored last night.

“I also met @nypdpc Edward Caban. He is NYC’s first Latino police commissioner. He started his career with the New York City Police Department as a police officer in 1991, patrolling the streets of the South Bronx and today he is the top cop. Proud of him, and rooting for his success.”

Ana also spent time with Marc at the annual Maestro Cares Foundation Gala in December 2022, and seemed thrilled to be in his company as they wrapped their arms around each other and posed for photos with dog trainer Cesar Millan.

However, Ana is not the only host of The View with a jealous partner. Sunny Hostin admitted last week that her husband Emmanuel is not very happy when men offer to buy her drinks in bars.

On a recent episode of The View podcast, the panel was answering questions from members of the live studio audience and were talking about dating when Joy Behar joked, “I’m Sunny’s wing woman, okay. We’re sitting at the bar, she’s sitting there, and suddenly a guy comes up to her and starts talking to her and she goes “hahahahahahaha”.’

Sunny didn’t exactly deny Joy’s flirtatious claims, replying, “I’m a barfly, so I tend to get a lot of drink offers.” It’s just really weird, my husband doesn’t like it and he says it’s because I have big teeth and smile too much!’

Alyssa Farah Griffin then said: ‘No, you have energy, because I notice it in male guests who also come…’

Ana then intervened and claimed, “Honey, if someone brought Manny a drink, you’d be murderous!”

Sunny replied, “I’d be crazy!”
