Maximizing your storage space is a must when renting a small apartment.

One woman shared the six must-have items she swears by to save space in her home.

Claude (@clowdymeatball) gave her followers a virtual tour of her favorite storage hacks.

“I live in a small apartment, so I'm going to go through the most important things that saved me the most space as quickly as possible,” the TikToker said in her video.

For her first recommendation, she showed her viewers how she saves space in her kitchen.

“The magnetic knife holder, those knife blocks take up so much space,” Claud said.

She also freed up her countertop with a unique dish rack.

“An over-the-sink drying rack, so easy to fold and store,” she told her audience.

Claud moved into her living space and showed her followers how she stores her shoes.

“This shoe holder at the entrance holds so many pairs of shoes and it looks much neater than a shoe rack because you can't see any of them,” she said as she opened one of the drawers.

Claud revealed that her cupboard storage trick was her 'personal favourite'.

“Everyone who visits my apartment says this is the best idea,” she said.

“My closet is super narrow, but actually very high, so I just added another rack on top.

'Then I bought this [grabber] gadget on Amazon, so when I need something there I literally pick up clothes as if I were working in a clothing store, it works so well, it saves so much space.”

Claud also added an extra clothes rack to the back of her closet door.

She went back to her kitchen and opened her cupboards to show her viewers how she keeps her mugs.

“These mug hangers give you so much more space and most cabinets are adjustable, so if you need more height you can usually move these shelves up or down,” she said.

Claud's followers shared their thoughts on the storage hacks in the comments section.
