CONOR MCGREGOR has made an x-rated plea to Dana White over his long-awaited return to the octagon.

The Irishman's comeback fight against Michael Chandler was seemingly on track to land UFC After the promotion, 300 opted not to have him headline their final card of 2023.

But a date for the MMA superstar's return – which he recently claimed would take place on June 29 – has yet to be set.

And The Notorious, 35, gets restless and writes on a Instagram story including a video of him and Chandler going back and forth: “Get this damn date set.”

McGregor's plea comes nearly two weeks after he hinted at a shocking draw on the stacked UFC 300 card.

After sharing a video of him sparring on social media, he wrote on X: “McGregor on 300 seals the deal.”

MMA fans around the world are somewhat baffled by the UFC's decision not to have a poster boy top the bill from their upcoming historical map.

But according to veteran commentator Joe Rogan, the promotion tried to put the Dubliner at the top of the bill for the Sin City extravaganza.

During a recent episode of his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the 57-year-old said: “The big one – they tried to get Conor.

“But then he won't be ready for it yet.”

In response to McGregor's claim that he and Chandler will clash at middleweight, Rogan said: “That 85 is crazy, that's crazy. That 85 is crazy, that's crazy.

“That's also: if you don't want to lose weight, that's the way to do it.

“Because he's probably around 85 or 90 pounds. It's probably nothing.'

McGregor has not fought since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with rival Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

The UFC's first simultaneous two-weight world champion underwent a long and extensive rehabilitation late last year – during which he underwent a dramatic body transformation – to regain fitness.

And he made an emotional plea to White and the rest of the UFC top brass to give him a date for his highly anticipated comeback fight last October.

He said: “I have been deprived of my livelihood for almost three years now.

“Understand that. I've been through what I've been through. I'm coming off an injury and a loss.

'Do you hear what Alexander Volkanovski said? I recognize it. I have to return to my way of life.

“This is my job. It's beyond frustrating. … I just want the date. Give me the date, please. That's all.”
