Sonitpur: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday expressed confidence that India would be free from the problem of Naxalism in the next three years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While addressing a gathering on the 60th day of education of Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) at Tezpur in Assam, he lauded the courage of the SSB and their efforts in the fight against the Naxalites.

“I believe that in the next three years under the leadership of Prime Minister Naredra Modi, the country will completely solve the problem of Naxalism,” Shah said while addressing the 60th Revival Day of Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB) in Assam's Tezpur on Saturday. .

The Union Home Minister lauded the courage of the SSB in the fight against Naxalism, stating that the SSB, along with the CRPF and the BSF, has put the Naxal movement on edge.

“Besides protecting the borders of friendly countries Nepal and Bhutan, the SSB has been fighting the Naxalites in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar. I have heard of your bravery whenever I reviewed Naxal operations in these areas,” Shah said.
