PM Modi launches 10 new Vande Bharat express trains today: view route, full list of trains
Vande Bharat Express: Besides launching new trains, Prime Minister Modi on Tuesday also flagged off the expansion of four Vande Bharat trains.
Vande Bharat Express Latest News: In a major development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on Tuesday and launch 10 new Vande Bharat trains, including one between Ahmedabad and Mumbai Central. This will give a major boost to railway infrastructure and connectivity in the country.
With the launch of ten new Vande Bharat Express trains, the total number will increase to over 50 covering 45 routes nationwide. Currently, Indian Railways operates nearly 41 Vande Bharat Express services, connecting states with electrified Broad Gauge (BG) networks and spanning 24 states and 256 districts.

According to the announcements, of the total 10 new launches on Tuesday, six routes including Delhi-Katra, Delhi-Varanasi, Mumbai-Ahmedabad, Mysuru-Chennai, Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram and now Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad will have two Vande Bharat routes. trains will run shortly after the trains are launched.
PM Modi launched six more Vande Bharat trains in December 2023 and these trains were the second train connecting Katra with New Delhi. Other Vande Bharat routes included Amritsar to Delhi, Coimbatore to Bangalore, Mangalore to Madgaon, Jalna to Mumbai and Ayodhya to Delhi.

- Ranchi Varanasi
- Khajuraho-Delhi (Nizamuddin).
Besides, Prime Minister Modi will also mark the extension of four Vande Bharat trains on Tuesday.
- Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat is extended up to Dwarka
- Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Vande Bharat is extended to Chandigarh
- Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat is extended to Prayagraj
- Thiruvananthapuram-Kasargod Vande Bharat is extended up to Mangaluru
