It comes after Vanessa risked an awkward encounter with her ex Ben Ofoedu as he arrived at Back To The Future's 1000th West End performance with his new girlfriend Precious Muir.
The broadcaster put on her bravest face as she beamed at the Adelphi Theater in London.
Vanessa was left heartbroken after finding out singer Ben, 51, had cheated on her in February.
An audience member watching in the theater as the drama unfolded told MailOnline: 'Ben came in first with his girlfriend, they were holding hands and looked quite smitten.
'About ten minutes later Vanessa walked in with her grandson, it was clear she had no idea Ben was at the event.
Ben took to his Instagram on Friday to address the awkward run-in, saying it was a “shame” Vanessa didn't come see him after they were both seen in the same building for the first time since their split a year ago.
Ben said: 'I'm taking one of my morning walks and I want to say this to you publicly because my last relationship was public.
'For the first time in a year, Vanessa and I were in the same building. I haven't seen her. Supposedly she saw me and it's a shame she didn't come up to say hello.

It comes after Vanessa risked an awkward encounter with her ex Ben as he arrived at the 1000th performance of Back To The Future with his girlfriend Precious Muir, 33, on Thursday.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, the TV sensation explained that she is not particularly looking for love, but believes she will eventually find 'something nice'.

She revealed that while she doesn't have a list of criteria for her next man, she does want someone with a “twinkle in the eye.”
Speaking about her new single and dating life, Vanessa said: It's not easy, and it takes guts.
“I've told people a million times, 'It's a numbers game,' and I really believe that.
“I mean, you go on as many dates as possible and maybe you end up finding something you like. And that's what I do, I do my best.'
Although the star has gone on quite a few dates since her devastating breakup, she shared that another notable person had yet to come into her life.
She said: 'I've been on a few dates and no one stood out, unfortunately.
'I just want someone who can benefit from it. It's just something, you know. They don't have to be pretty. It doesn't have to be a specific profession.
'You don't have to, but just like a twinkle in the eye and a giggle and a joke and something, you know, because some people are very, very flat and a bit straight, you know, they do that.
“You end up having a conversation that's so polite and there's nothing wrong with that. But there's nothing good about it. It's not, you know, it's not exciting.'
