TikTok was one of the fastest growing brands in 2020, after Zoom and Peacock.

In 2023, the social media platform landed on Time Magazine’s list of 100 most influential companies.

With such hype, many TikTok videos have gone viral over the years.

At number one is Zach King’s Harry Potter illusion video, with 2.3 billion views.

The video shows King flying a broomstick, in which he later discovers the mirror used to deceive the public.

“They rejected my application to Hogwarts, but I still found a way to become a wizard,” King wrote.

The 18-second video, posted in December 2019, quickly gained popularity and remains ranked as the most viewed content on TikTok.

Who is Zach King?

King was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and graduated from Biola University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in film and media arts.

The 33-year-old illusionist and internet personality is best known for his short magical videos, which he started on YouTube and Vine.

With his debut on TikTok in 2016, King has the sixth most followed account and has amassed more than 78.9 million followers as of September 2023.

The illusionist married Rachel Holm, a case manager, in 2014.

What are some other frequently viewed videos on TikTok?

Aside from King’s Harry Potter illusion content, James Charles’ Christmas Wonderland transition video is in second place with 1.7 billion views.

The video shows Charles’ home transforming from an ordinary place to a Christmas wonderland in the blink of an eye.

In third and fourth place are again two videos from King.

The video, titled Zach King’s Hide and Seek Illusionhas been viewed 1.1 billion times and is a continuous stream of illusion tricks that leave the viewer wondering how King pulled it off.

The Glass and cake illusion by King has been viewed 966.7 million times.

In fifth place is content creator Bella Poarch’s M To The B lip sync video, with more than 761.9 million views.
