This will allow users to receive faster, time-saving responses from customer support even outside their business hours as the feature is rolled out to stable versions. According to a report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is currently testing a new AI-powered feature to give users smart suggestions when searching for customer support within the app. As seen in the image above, (some) “WhatsApp Support messages can be generated by AI using secure technology from Meta,” This would ensure that even in a situation where human support is not available, users would receive the necessary assistance in a timely manner. We should also keep in mind that while the new AI support will provide quick assistance for all user queries, users will still be able to choose whether to seek human assistance if they feel that the AI response is not up to the expected solution is sufficient. This can be done simply by responding to the message the AI generated, indicating that more help is needed.
