White Lotus star Lukas Gage looks calm and collected WITHOUT his ring as he attends Longines star party after divorce from Chris Appleton

White Lotus star Lukas Gage looked cool and collected as he made a public appearance on Thursday amid the collapse of his marriage to Chris Appleton.

Chris, 40, who is best known as Kim Kardashian’s hairstylist, filed for divorce on Monday just six months after the wedding.

New allegations of infidelity and ‘controlling’ behavior have surfaced, believed to be behind the shock divorce.

But Lukas, 28, betrayed no hint of bitterness as he attended the elegant dinner for Longines at Soho House West Hollywood on Thursday evening.

Longines celebrated its new Legend Diver watch, which Lukas proudly modeled on his left wrist, drawing attention to the absence of his wedding ring.

The Euphoria heartthrob made his presence felt at the party in a burnt orange ensemble that complemented his luscious dirty blonde curls.

He could be spotted mingling with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney of Bud Light, actress D’Arcy Carden and record executive Charlie Christie.

While making his way through the party, Charlie got into a bit of a fight with fellow music manager Jeremy Vuernick and Mad Men alum Kiernan Shipka.

The Longines party took place one night after Lukas made his first public appearance post-split, while attending the star-studded season premiere of Fargo.

Lukas plays a recurring character in the new season of the show, which itself is inspired by the Coen brothers’ beloved 1996 film starring Frances McDormand.

Two days earlier, Chris had filed for divorce on the grounds of ‘irreconcilable differences’ – just days after the wedding was broadcast on the reality series The Kardashians.

Now sources close to Lukas claim he was the one who ended the relationship, with his partner’s alleged ‘controlling’ tendencies fueling his decision.

“Lukas ended it because Chris was controlling and possessive, and he really thought he was the most important person on the planet,” an insider exclusively told DailyMail.com.

The source said the couple were “playing” together, but suggested their open relationship could have caused a rift between them.

They also claimed that Chris “filed a report first to save face” and “conveniently waited until after the Kardashians’ wedding episode aired before adding, “Everyone thinks it’s so dark.”

A separate source close to the situation said: ‘There was never an open relationship, Chris never cheated on Lukas. The timing of the shooting is irrelevant to the episode; there was no choice but to file when he did.

“There was a side to Lukas that Chris didn’t see before the wedding and because this was Chris’s first marriage, he went with a lot of love.”

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Chris and Lukas for comment.

The former couple’s divorce date is listed as Nov. 10, according to divorce documents, with documents showing they also had a prenuptial agreement.

The source said, “They had a prenup and the divorce is easy as the marriage is only six months old. Right now they’re not getting along at all.’

The estranged couple exchanged vows in Las Vegas in April, with Kim Kardashian, whose hair was cut by Chris, officiating the surprise nuptials. Shania Twain serenaded the couple.

The ceremony was documented last week on the Hulu series The Kardashians, leaving fans in shock.

The couple married in front of just six guests at Little White Chapel after applying for a marriage license in Clark County.

Kim organized a performance for Shania, as the music superstar sang, “Chris, Lukas, looks like you made it, come here, let’s do this.”

Both Chris and Lukas declared “We love you!” when Shania broke into her 1997 classic, You’re Still The One.

The estranged couple went public with their romance in February, sharing vacation photos from the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico.

‘I’m very happy. Very much in love. And I feel very grateful that I can share my time with someone very special,” Chris said on March 17 on the Drew Barrymore Show.

‘Love is something very special and I think it’s very special to meet someone you really connect with.’

In addition to working for Kim, Chris’s client list also includes two-time Grammy nominee Jennifer Lopez, three-time Grammy winner Dua Lipa and Daytime Emmy nominated host Drew Barrymore.

Lukas is famous for his roles as resort employee Dillon in season one of The White Lotus, Adam Pratt in the Netflix thriller You and Tyler Clarkson in Euphoria.

He also has a recurring role as Lars Olmstead in the fifth season of the black comedy Fargo, premiering later this year on FX.

Chris looked glum as he stepped into West Hollywood without his wedding ring on Tuesday.

A source previously told TMZ that the split “wasn’t an easy decision for Chris, but he did everything he could to make the marriage work and he had to make the best decision for himself going forward.”
