The paint disappeared from the shelves after the company went bankrupt last year.

But it is now being sold on Wilko’s website for between £10 and £35 for 2.5 to 5 litres, but shoppers can now get it in store too.

The budget chain sells all types of paint for use throughout the house, including the living room, bathroom and exterior of the house.

Wilko described the paint in a Facebook post like, “A cheap and easy way to spruce up your home before friends and family come to visit this Easter!”

Fans of the paint were very happy that the product was now back on the shelves.

One said: “I’ve used Wilko paint all over my house and it’s fantastic.”

Another said: “My favorite paint. Kitchen cupboards, almost every wall and even the outdoor play equipment have a layer of the Wilko stuff”

While a third said: “This makes me so happy, I love all the Wilko DIY stuff. I’ve been struggling to get cheap DIY stuff that’s actually good.”

After Wilko was sold to The Range last year, her branded paint is also available there.

Fans of the paint have been sharing their kitchen transformations with Wilko’s paint.

A DIY fan known as @ OnzekleineStanhope shared their transformation in a TikTok video.

They said: “Kitchen transformation. Crazy what a little Wilko cabinet paint & Amazon handles can do!”

Another fan of the paint transformed their garden shed.

Painter Jenny told how she gave the tired structure an impressive shine with a £12 purchase.

She said: “This is Wilko’s ‘coastal cliff’ and I took two coats to cover the black.”

Brits were heartbroken when the much-loved Wilko announced it would close all its stores after falling into administration last year.

Because no buyer was found, 400 stores closed and thousands of employees lost their jobs.

But since December 2023, the Wilko name has officially returned to the shopping street after new stores opened their doors to customers.

Three old Wilko branches reopened in December and welcomed customers for the first time. These stores are located in:

  • Unit A, Armada Centre, Mayflower Street, Plymouth – opened 1 December
  • Unit 100, Guildhall Shopping Centre, Exeter – opened 1 December
  • 141/147 Arndale Centre, Luton – opened 8 December

Two more stores will open under the Wilko brand in the spring.

The opening dates of the two newest stores, located in St Albans (The Maltings) and Rotherham (Parkgate Shopping Park), have now been revealed.

Both stores will open on Good Friday, March 29, 2024 at 9:00 am.
