Woman in her 30s arrested after two men found dead in Hartlepool home as police launch double murder investigation – The Sun

TWO men have been found dead in a property, while police have arrested a woman.

Police have launched a double murder investigation after the gruesome discovery of the bodies on Friday.

Emergency services rushed to the address on Eaglesfield Road, HartlepoolTeeside, following reports of a “serious incident”.

Despite all efforts, both men were pronounced dead at the scene. It is probably an apartment on the ground floor.

A woman in her 30s was arrested suspicion of murder but has since been released on bail.

It is not yet known how the two men died.

Cleveland police said their families have been informed and are being supported.

Police said: “Police were called to a property on Eaglesfield Road in Hartlepool at around 11.40pm on Friday, March 15, where the bodies of two men were sadly found.

‘Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

“Family members of the men have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

‘Our thoughts remain with them at this extremely difficult time.

“A woman in her 30s has been arrested on suspicion of murder and has now been released on bail while investigations continue.

“Police are carrying out highly visible reassurance patrols in the area and these will continue in the coming days.”
