Tamilnadu Minister T. M. Anbarasan Wednesday sparked a huge controversy after an alleged video showed him making threatening comments towards him Prime Minister Narendra Modi. TM Anbarasan is the Minister for Rural Industries, Cottage Industries, Small Industries and Slum Clearance Authority in the ruling DMK government of Tamil Nadu, headed by Chief Minister MK Stalin. He reportedly made the controversial remarks last weekend, a week after Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a mega roadshow in Tiruppur state.

“We have seen many prime ministers, but never has there been a prime minister who stoops so low. Modi is threatening to wipe us out, I want to tell him that DMK is not just an organization. It was built through countless sacrifices and the shedding of much blood,” Anbarasan says in the video in Tamil.

He adds, “all those who said they will destroy DMK have died. This organization will still survive, keep that in mind.”

The DMK minister then says that he would have “chopped him (Modi) into pieces” if he was not a minister.

“I remain silent and speak in a soft manner, as I am a minister. If I was not a minister, I would have chopped him (PM Modi) into pieces,” Anbarasan says in the video.

BJP lashes out at DMK, INDIA Bloc

Meanwhile, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) lashed out at the ruling DMK over the minister’s threatening remarks against the Prime Minister and also aimed guns at the opposition bloc INDIA, of which the DMK is a part.

The viral clip of the DMK minister’s threats against Prime Minister Modi was widely shared by BJP leaders on social media platforms as the saffron party attacked the INDIA outfit over the minister’s alleged comments.

“The INDI Alliance agenda could not be clearer. Eliminate Sanatan Dharma and all those it protects,” wrote BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya on X while sharing the alleged video of the minister’s comments.

Reacting to the DMK minister’s comments, BJP National Secretary Satya Kumar Yadav said it is “yet another low point for the INDI Alliance” which has resorted to blatant disrespect to the Prime Minister as they already realize that the outcome of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls will not be. be to their advantage.

“The INDI Alliance knows the outcome of the LS elections, so now they are resorting to abusing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. Such blatant disrespect to the honorable Prime Minister is unacceptable and deserves a strong condemnation,” Yadav said.
