In a recent Xbox Podcast, Xbox president Sarah Bond said there would be information about a new console by mid-2024.

A presentation leaked by Xbox during the FTC lawsuit showed a new Xbox Series X, codenamed Brooklin.

Brooklin would be a cylindrical Xbox Series

When the presentation was unveiled to Brooklin, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer admitted that “so much has changed” since the document was created.

We know this to be true, as the document stated that a black Xbox Series S, codenamed Ellewood, would release in July 2024.

However, this console is already out and was launched in September 2023.

A new report suggests that Brooklin has been changed to white, to match the swapped colors of the Xbox Series S.

It was also suggested that the game could be released as early as June 2024, but we think this is unlikely as Bond said there would be a new console announcement around August 2024.

The October 2024 release date seems to be the most consistent given Xbox’s official announcements.
