The incident took place at Mile Stone 110 Raya Cut in Mathura. The accident took place around 3 am when a bus heading from Dholpur to Noida collided with another bus heading from Etawah to Noida.

Injured people admitted to hospitals, cause of accident Dense fog

Poor visibility due to fog is believed to be a contributing factor to the incident. Parts of northern India remain shrouded in dense fog with reduced visibility. Officials said 31 injured passengers were admitted to the district hospital, while nine other injured persons were admitted to other hospitals. More details on this are expected.
