A DRIVER has taken revenge on jealous trolls who claim she used 'daddy's money' to buy her dream car, insisting it is the result of her hard work.

Aaliyah Anderson, 21, was criticized after revealing her first car after passing her driving test on an eighth attempt was an Audi.

She had shared a proud photo of herself, then 18, next to her luxury car as part of a video encouraging others to continue with lessons.

But the influencer's clip (@xxaaliyahandersonxx) was immediately flooded with comments making assumptions about her bike.

Hitting back at a troll who claimed that “we don't all have daddy's money to spend,” Aaliyah said: “The number of comments I got saying I didn't pay for it and it had to be daddy's money, like what?

“Since I'm a young girl, it must be my father who paid for it?

“Because I'm a woman, I can't buy my own car or is it too good for me?

'It actually baffles me. It is mainly men who respond to this and say that it must be my father's money. How can you say that?'

She added: “I didn't save for three years, barely bought anything, bought this car that I really love just so everyone could say I didn't pay for it. I did pay for it.

“I paid for the car, the insurance, all my lessons and every test. It was all paid for by me.

“I don't need to explain myself, but I'd like to brag about it now that I paid for everything. I paid for my Audi when I was 18.

'I worked for it. A woman can work for it. A young person can work for it.

“If you work and save for it, you can buy any car you want, and that's what I did.

“There's so much jealousy, it baffles me that we can't all just be happy for each other.”

Aaliyah was also forced to address allegations that she had financed her car, insisting that “it was bought outright.”

And she was flooded with support on social media as people praised her hard work ethic.

“When people are jealous, you're doing things right, boy. A testament to your success,” said one.

A second wrote: “Just a world full of jealous people! You drive your beautiful car with pride.”

A third added: “I commend you for being able to afford a car and insurance at the age of 18. I needed help with my first year of insurance even after saving for years.”

A fourth chimed in: “My first car is an Audi A3 Sport. I'm a single mother of two boys. People hate that I can afford it. Well done.”

Meanwhile, a fifth fumed: “Imagine being a guy online who gets angry when you see a girl driving a better car than you.”

We previously told how Aaliyah praised a confidence-boosting beauty trick as she finally got her driver's license.

She said: “Tip for passing your driving test: get your nails done. Believe me, it works.

“Apparently if you get your nails done you can get through it. I think it might have to do with trust.”

Aaliyah took her first driving test in Kirkcaldy, Fife in December 2019, but it took 17 months and a further seven tests before she finally passed in May 2021.
