I’m 55 and wear mini dresses way above my knees, they make me feel alive

A 55-year-old influencer doesn’t believe in clothing for a specific age.

She showed off her body in styles that she said were “way above” her knees.

Natalie (@natalieyco) shared the age-positive message in an Instagram video.

The influencer, who urged people to fight back against the stigmas of aging, explained that she often likes to start with her wardrobe.

“I know I talk about my age a lot, but that’s what my platform is about,” she said.

“My goal is to help inspire us, women and men, and remind us that growing older is really how we feel inside.”

The 55-year-old showed off her white off-the-shoulder dress, which she paired with matching white heels and sunglasses.

“In two months I will be 56 years old. I will still wear dresses above my knees as long as I can!” she said.

Natalie explained that she enjoyed starting her birthday with a glamorous outfit.

“I like to capture every birthday with a photo of me wearing a dress that makes me feel alive,” she said.

“I don’t know yet what I’ll wear this year! But I guarantee it will be above the knees!”

People responded and shared words of encouragement.

“As my mother always said, if you’ve got it, show it!” said one inspired viewer.

“I’m 62 and wear the same size as my daughters aged 26 and 29. I don’t wear things that are clearly too young for me, but I still rock leather, faux fur and above-the-knee skirts and dresses,” they added .

“I’m 6 feet tall,” so most skirts and dresses are short anyway. I know when it’s time to let go of that part of my style, but I’m not there yet!”

Some thought she didn’t even look that old.

“If my legs looked like this you would have to force pants on me,” said one viewer.
