An Aldi employee has revealed the easy way to create an Easter-themed charcuterie board to impress your guests over the long weekend.

We all know Easter is about chocolate, but there are plenty of us (me) who would much rather have a cheese board than a chocolate egg.

Fortunately, the German supermarket has put together a simple guide on how to make a beautiful pastry board at home – of course with the Easter theme.

And the best part? It will cost you just under a tenner thanks to the budget-friendly purchases of 79 cents.

In the clip posted on their social media, the Aldi worker started with an essential grazing board item – cheap at just 89 cents.

Make sure to include some festive chocolates – they’ve added their milk chocolate small bunnies and eggs for 79p a pack.

Carrot sticks and crackers for 79 cents were also crucial to ensuring there was a way to eat the hummus without getting confused.

You can pick up ready-made carrot sticks for 89 cents so you don’t have to spend an entire afternoon chopping them.

Grapes were the next one must-have item on the board and they chose the mixed grape tray for £1.79.

It wouldn’t be charcuterie without some meat and cheese – that’s why they’ve added the Italian salami and cheese selection to the board for just £1.79 per pack.

It wouldn’t be Easter without a few Hot Cross buns, so they’ve added a few to the mix: in stores you can grab four buns for £1.25.

Last but not least, they added a handful of strawberries to the bowl for £1.89 per punnet.

The end results looked incredible and are definitely on our list to make for the long weekend and there is something for everyone to enjoy.

“Check out our Easy Easter Charcuterie Board. Get all these essentials in store now to create your own* prizes, correct as of 11.03.24,” Aldi captioned the post.

And if you fancy a takeaway but don’t want to spend the cash, a clever bunch have shared the recipes you need for Aldi’s fake KFC.

Essential ingredients for this include four chicken breasts, seeded brioche buns and hash browns.

Aldi shoppers are also raving about their new Dominos dupe, so you can save money without missing out.

Now there’s a brand new dessert on the market that rivals the new Domino’s Cookies, filled with a whole Cadbury Creme Egg.

Aldi has loaded its Carlos Takeaway Chocolate Chip Melt in the Middle Cookies with a gooey center – just like the pizza giant.

The dupe costs £2.25 for four biscuits, while Domino’s version costs a whopping £6.99 for just two biscuits.

Aldi’s biscuits have gone viral on Facebook, with foodies saying they “look delicious” and “I can’t wait to get them this weekend”.

“Aldi is doing things,” one person wrote.
