Bachelor Summary: 3 women fall in love with Joey after their hometown

The Bachelor‘S Joey Graziadei made meeting the parents seem easy on hometown dates, but not every family believed in his charm.

Before Joey, 28, made his jaunt across the United States (and Canada) during Monday, March 4’s episode, he made it clear that what happened during each birth date could be “a really big deal” for the future of his relationships. with its last four participants: Daisy Kent, Kelsey Anderson, Maria Georgas And Rachel Nance.

“I hope that after this week we have the opportunity to look forward to what can happen at the end of this week and where our relationship can continue to grow,” the tennis pro said during a confessional. “That’s the best-case scenario.”

Kelsey Anderson

The hometown dates started when Kelsey took Joey on a tandem bike ride through City Park in New Orleans. They continued to explore the city — and grabbed some beignets — before Kelsey took Joey to meet her family, including her dad. Markingher brother, Matthewand her sister, Taylor.

“My feelings for her are real and they make sense. I’m super hopeful, I really am,” Joey told Mark during their one-on-one conversation. Kelsey’s father was “comforted” by Joey’s feelings, but was also “concerned” for his daughter. Ultimately, however, Mark had faith in the future of their relationship.

“I feel very, very lucky, and it’s been great to see Kelsey and Joey and the connection that they have,” he told the camera. “I understand there are other women out there, but I think Joey will take care of Kelsey. I really hope she’s engaged when she gets home.’

While Kelsey admitted in a confessional that she “blurted that I love him,” she did not share her feelings with Joey at the end of their visit.

Rachel Nance

While Rachel is from Hawaii, her date of birth took place in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Joey got a glimpse into her Filipino culture when he met Rachel’s mother. Noelaher father, Hakimher sister, Amanda and her cousin Liam at a backyard party, complete with a spit-roasted pig.

Both Rachel’s mother and father were skeptical about their daughter’s relationship with Joey. “The verdict has not yet been pronounced,” her mother stated at one point. Joey even made it clear to Hakim that he would ask permission to propose if Rachel was the one to earn his final rose. “She has my number,” Rachel’s father told Joey.

Despite her family’s opposition, Rachel told Joey that she is falling in love with him.

Daisy Kent

Like Taylor SwiftDaisy’s heart lies with a Christmas tree farm, where Joey met her for a date in her hometown. The duo explored Daisy’s family business in Becker, Minnesota, before meeting her mother. Juliaher father, Brandonher sister, Josephineher brother, Harrisonher Grandpa Ted And Grandma Gloria.

It’s clear that Daisy’s family is immediately smitten with Joey, but Julie worries that her daughter is “not vulnerable to the full extent.” However, that changes after Daisy has a much-needed meeting with her father. The date of birth allowed Daisy to tell Joey that she is falling in love with him.

“I’m so excited to see where this goes, and you make me so happy and feel so special and my whole family can see that. No matter what happens, I’m just going to go for it with all my heart because I think there’s something great here and I want to see what it could be,” Daisy said. Maria Georgas

Eventually, Joey went to Niagara Falls, Canada, where he and Maria took the famous Maid of the Mist boat ride. They were also forced to sit down in earnest after she almost walked out a week earlier.

While Maria admitted to Joey that she was “scared,” he wished he was “more confident” about where they stood — especially after Maria revealed that Joey was the first significant other she ever brought home.

Tensions were high when Joey walked in on what seemed like a modern episode The godfather movie franchise.

“Maria is 100 percent daddy’s girl”, Maria’s father, Nick, told the cameras. “If she gets hurt, that would be a problem for Joey.” (Joey met Nick with Maria’s mother, Loriher brothers, Steven And Sotoand a friend named Brittany.)

Initially it seemed that this place of birth would provide a date JoJo Fletcher‘s birthplace during Ben Higgins‘ Bachelor education season a run for its money, but Joey’s charm won over Maria’s family – even her father.

During his one-on-one conversation with Maria’s father, Joey said he wanted to speak “with intention” to each of the four women he had left, explaining that he hasn’t shared love with anyone yet. Joey earned Nick’s respect with this comment – and received his blessing as Maria was The One. As the night came to an end (after Joey watched home videos of Maria as a baby), she “froze” and couldn’t share her feelings.

Joey’s post-birthplace rose ceremony took place in an airplane hangar, with Maria pulling him aside before the roses were handed out. Despite not saying it before, Maria told Joey that she was falling in love with him.

However, Maria’s hesitation ultimately cost her a rose. Fearing being “dishonest” and still having “doubts” after meeting her family, Joey sent Maria home.
