Four people have been injured after a car crashed into the front of a coffee shop.

Emergency services were called to the Coffee Emporium on North Terrace in Bankstown in Sydney’s west after the incident at around 11.30am on Saturday.

Paramedics attended the scene after reports that a car had crashed through the front of the cafe.

Four people were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The Daily Telegraph reports this.

A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance told the newspaper that one person was taken to Liverpool Hospital.

The spokesperson said several paramedics were on scene to assist the three others who were injured.

Diners who were at the cafe said the vehicle crashed straight into people who were eating.
